Critique Night – Free Session with a panel of accomplished Judges | November 23, 2015
Have you wanted to take your photography to the next level and are unsure how to go about it? Do you want feedback on your progress? Are you a beginner looking for a few tips from the pros? Then please join us for the first in a series of Critique Nights at the Lumix Studio. The session is completely free to attend and you will receive some valuable feedback and insight on your work. All camera types welcome.
This first session is focused on Landscape, Scenery and Travel photos. Each participant can bring in 3-5 JPEG photos related to this genre on a USB Key. Receive constructive criticism and helpful tips on your work in a non-threatening environment. Feel free to ask questions about technique, editing, composition etc.
When: Monday November 23rd, 7-10pm
Where: Lumix Studio, 5770 Ambler Drive (side entrance of the Panasonic building – just follow the signs for the Human Resources entrance)
Cost: Free, however we will be collecting non perishable food donations for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Please bring a food donation and help out someone less fortunate than ourselves.

Mark Wolfson www.markwolfsonphotos.com
Mark Wolfson, retired Vice President of Henry’s, Canada largest independent camera retailer, graduated Ryerson University Photographic Arts in 1971. Mark is a passionate photographer who has travelled extensively through many parts of North America, Europe, Asia and North Africa. His photographs hang in homes and businesses across Canada. Recently Mark has lectured at York University’s Glendon College Campus, Ryerson University and various local camera clubs.
Charles van den Ouden MPA, SPA
Charles van den Ouden is a Dutch born photographer trained at the Vancouver School of Art. Throughout his career, Charles has been active in local, provincial and national photographic organizations, and operated the Charles van den Ouden photography studio for 24 years. He has made a name for himself as a commercial photographer who specializes in working with people. Charles holds the Masters of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada. He is a trained Photography adjudicator and is currently a professor in the Creative Photography Program at Humber College in Toronto.
Johan Sorensen www.johanphoto.ca
Since graduating from the Humber College of Art, Johan has worked as a commercial photographer, while pursuing his own artistic work. Clients include Panasonic Canada, Kraft Canada, McDonald’s, Bacardi, Nestle, the Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, Bell Canada, Northern Telecom, Skydome Hotel, Coffee Time, Hard Rock Cafe, Pizza Pizza, Penguin Books, Canada Sports, Nike, Adidas, Timex , Tiffany & Co., GlaxoSmithKline Inc., Government of Ontario, Government of Canada, The Law Society of Upper Canada, and ScotiaBank. He has also been teaching Photography at Humber College for 18 years.
